Bi-wired configuration: two connectors at the amplifier end, four at the speaker end. The terminations utilize a distinctive ultrasonic welding process that bonds the copper wire directly to the brass banana or spade connector, with no intermediate metal, no compression sleeves or set screws. Star quad cable configuration minimizes the EM field around the cable for less interaction with other system cabling. Assembled using proprietary connectors and a Sonobond welder. The locking banana plugs offer superior engagement between plug and binding post; advancing the locking collar tightens the splines to the inside of the post
