The terminations use a distinctive ultrasonic welding method that bonds the copper wire directly to the brass banana or spade connector, without any intermediate metal, compression sleeves, or setscrews. Star quad cable design minimizes the electromagnetic field around the cable, lowering interaction with other system wiring. Assembled in Seattle, Washington, with proprietary connectors and a Sonobond welder.
