Ordinary axial fans are either too noisy, too bulky, or unable to deliver air to the outlet of the duct/fan duct. The fan cable is approximately 30cm long and does not include a plug. The fan has a third pin for fan control/speed reading (cable not provided/not installed). Radial fans can be connected in series, meaning two fans can operate on a 24V power supply. Each fan is individually balanced, ensuring very quiet operation (which is also the reason for the higher price)!
