The instrument has for ABCD wood scales, enabling the user to take accurate moisture measurements in all kinds of wood species. You can choose paper mode to Test moisture of Cardboard, carton and paper. And you can select WALL mode to test moisture of sheetrock, wallboard, or other building materials.

Operation:
Caution: The electrode measurement pins are extremely sharp. Users care when handling this instrument. Cover the pins with the protective cap when the instrument is not in use.
Measurement Instructions:
1. Remove the battery cover, install 2 No. 7 dry batteries, and press the power button once to start the machine.The product has a blue backlight after starting up, which can be clearly displayed in case of insufficient light.
2.Remove the cap to expose the needle electrodes.
3. Select the appropriate wood calibration scale A, B, C, D (See the Wood Calibration Tables later in this guide) Using ''WOOD'' button.
4. Or Press ''PAPER/WALL'' key to Choose Paper Mode or Wall Mode. Paper mode is used for testing Cardboard/Carton. Wall mode is used for testing Sheetrock/Wall Board/Floor.
5. Push the needle pins into the material and observe the reading. Press Hold & C/F Switch Key once,Hold the Reading display.
6. Read the current ambient temperature.Press Hold & C/F Switch Key and Hold 3 Second, Switch the Degrees Celsius and Fahrenheit
7. Power OFF the instrument.
Auto Power OFF:
This instrument will be Auto Power OFF if there is no any button pressing in 5 minutes. This design is for saving battery power consumption.
Care and Maintenance:
When the instrument is not in use, store the instrument in a stable, dust-free environment out of direct sunlight. Remove the battery from the instrument if it is to be stored for periods of more than one month, or when the low battery power symbol appears on the display.
Battery replacement
When the low battery icon appears on the display, replace the battery as soon as practical.
1. Remove the rear battery compartment cover.
2. Replace 2*AAA batteries.
3. Cover the compartment door.
