Turn On/Off: There are 3 small Buttons next to the knob, press and hold the middle buttons for 2 seconds (don't move your finger while pressing it), then the adapter will be turned on and you can see the LCD screen light up.
RX Mode:
For your phone (tablet, laptop or smart TV with Bluetooth).
Push the side switch slider to the "RX" end (Receive Mode) and the LED light around the big knob will turn blue, use your phone or TV Bluetooth to search and pair it, the name is "M5". Connect your wired speaker or wired headset to the adapter and you can get sound from your phone or TV wirelessly.
TX Mode:
For your Bluetooth headset (headphones, soundbar or speaker).
Push the side switch slider to the "TX" end (Transmitter Mode) and the LED will turn red. Quickly set your headset to pairing mode (make sure it's in pairing status, this is important) and after a few seconds(10s-30s), the adapter will automatically pair the headset directly, connect the adapter to old TV (PC, MP3, Cassette player, CD or DVD, etc. without Bluetooth) via the audio cable, you can get sound from the old TV wirelessly.
If they can't pair with each other: Push the side switch slider to "TX" end firstly-> turn on the headset and set it to pairing mode-> then quickly turn on the adapter via the power button-> they will pair with each other after a few seconds (10s-30s).
TX Mode:
Wirelessly transmits audio from non-Bluetooth media device (such as TV, PC, Cassette player, CD/MP3 player) to Bluetooth headphones or Bluetooth speakers.
RX Mode:
Receives audio from a smart phone( smart TV/tablet) via Bluetooth, and carries sound to wired speakers, wired headset or car AUX stereo system.
USB/TF Mode:
It can play the music files from U-disk or TF memory card (Micro SD card), and transfers music to your wired/wireless headphones or speakers.
With this knob, you can easily adjust the volume, and when there is an incoming call, you can also press the knob to answer or reject the calls.
Hands-free Call: It has a built-in microphone, just press the big knob and you can talk to the other party without taking out your phone, free your hands, an ideal Bluetooth car adapter to ensure driving safety.
