This dual-function Type-C SSD enclosure is specially customized for retired original 12+16 pin AHCI SSDs removed from 20132017 MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, Mac Pro, Mac Mini and iMac. It lets you reuse your old Apple SSD as a portable external high-speed storage device and avoid waste.
An additional replaceable M.2 adapter plate is included. After replacing the adapter, the enclosure can hold mainstream M.2 NVMe SSDs of sizes 2230/2242/2260/2280 to meet diverse storage expansion demands.
