- The open design and capacity for field-adjusting the slope make this hanger perfect for both retrofit and new installations. It accommodates roof pitches from 0:12 to 14:12. For slopes up to or down to 45 degrees (12:12), permissible loads are according to the standard table. For slopes exceeding 45 degrees up to 49 degrees (14:12), permissible loads are 0.85 of the table loads. For enhanced versatility, the fasteners on the face of the hanger are positioned high, allowing the bottom of the rafter to hang below the ridge beam. Appropriate for nominal rafter sizes: 2x6, 2x8, 2x10
