Premium-grade S-MWLN heavy-duty boring bar for CNC and manual lathes. This right-hand tool, model S24U-MWLN R-4, features a 1-1/2" shank and a 14" overall length, with a minimum bore of 2". It utilizes a negative rake WNMG43 insert with a 95° approach angle for high-rigidity cutting. The bar is constructed from heat-treated alloy steel with a black oxide finish for corrosion resistance. The oxide-coated body improves wear resistance and minimizes glare under shop lighting. It is ideal for internal turning, rough boring, and facing in deep-hole machining. Each bar contains a clamp, clamp screw, and lock pin and is ready for mounting. It supports TiN and CVD-coated inserts for various work materials, including steel and aluminum.
