- Based on the AMS reference design, this is a breakout board for the AS3935 digital sensor. This advanced sensor features a specially tuned antenna, SPI or I2C interface, and a broad 2.4V to 5.5V standard operating range that can be used with most development systems and boards currently on the market. The breakout board includes an inductor (antenna) specifically engineered for this application, so you do not need to build a large back-end to handle low-level IC calibration. Built-in "artificial" interference suppression algorithms. Calculates strike distances from 1 km to 40 km in 14 steps. Uses: weather stations, sports electronics, cell phones, smart watches, golf equipment. Detection thresholds are adjustable (e.g., outdoor vs. indoor).
