[How to Open the Tracker Tag Lid and Replace the Battery] Use a standard U. S. coin, such as a 10-cent, 25-cent, or 50-cent coin, or a similar flat tool, and align it with the designated slot. Twist it 45 degrees clockwise following the "Open" marking to gently release the cover. The coin or tool is not included. To secure the cover back in place, align it with the "Close" marking and twist 45 degrees counter-clockwise until the lid is firmly closed. [Holder Installation Notes] To help keep the tracker tag secure in the rubber holder, insert the tracker with the text side facing outward. The striped side should face the inner wall of the rubber holder. If the striped side faces outward, the tracker may not sit firmly in place and could become loose during use.
