    • The S Video Cable is ideal for your TVs, VCRs, camcorders, S-VHS video, CCTV, home theater, DSS receivers, satellite receivers, DVD players, instrumentation and computer equipment. The S-video signal is split into two components, hence the term Separate Video or S-video. Two 75 ohm coaxial cables are used to carry the two component signals. One of the coaxial cables carries the Luma (brightness or Y component), while the second 75 ohm coaxial cable carries the chroma (color or C component). The connectors on both ends of the S-Video Cable are Mini-DIN 4-pin Male to Mini-DIN 4-pin Male. S-video provides a sharper image than composite video. Double-shielded (foil and braid) construction provides superior protection against EMI/RFI. PLEASE NOTE: This S-video cable will only transmit video; separate audio cables will be needed
