1. Check the frequency before purchasing.
Three types are available: -
UID IC ring: Built-in IC ISO14443A UID-changeable chip. The chip is programmed with a UID and can be used directly with a compatible access control device. It can also copy cards such as the F08 card.
- T5577 ID: Built-in blank T5577 chip. It can copy tags such as TK4100, EM4100, and EM4200, but cannot be used directly with a compatible access control device.
- Programmed ID: Built-in pre-programmed T5577 chip. It can be used directly with a TK4100/EM4100/EM4200 ID compatible access control device, but cannot copy other ID tags.
2. When copying a card, check whether it is encrypted. If it is, make sure your copier can copy encrypted cards. If you have successfully copied an old card using a similar blank duplicable product, such as a key, card, or wristband, this ring may also be able to copy it with your copier.
3. Some access machines use encrypted tags. The ring may not work even when the frequency and protocol are compatible. In that case, ask the reader supplier to authorize the ring.
4. The blank T5577 ID ring cannot be used directly with an access control reader without first being copied and written. The programmed ID ring cannot copy other tags. The UID IC ring can be used directly with an access control reader or to copy another access control tag.
5. This is not an NFC ring and cannot be used with a phone
