Why can’t I get a reading?
The minimum range is 5 yards. It won’t measure in small rooms, through glass, or beyond its effective range. Make sure nothing is blocking the target.
Why does it seem less accurate sometimes?
Rain, fog, strong sunlight, or heavy dust can affect laser performance. When measuring small objects, aim directly at the target, not the background.
How do I lock onto a flag?
Move slow and steady. In Golf Mode, hold the measure button and scan from the background toward the flag. It will vibrate once locked.
