3M VHB Tape [6 mil / black] (5906): 1 in. x 15 ft. (Black)

3M 5906 VHB Tape is excellent for applications where an aggressive double-sided thin tape is desired. The tape is coated with a pressure-sensitive adhesive on both sides and is used for bonding a wide range of materials, including many paints and lower surface energy plastics in addition to metals and other plastics. The foam is conformable to increase contact with the surfaces. This tape is similar to other products in the 3M VHB Tape 5952 family except in regards to thickness. Please note this tape is thin (only 6 mils thick) and very aggressive! Please apply it to your first substrate and allow time for the adhesive bond to set (typically an hour or so) and then the release liner can be removed and the other substrate attached. Often used for applications such as smartphone LCD screen attachment.
