Spring hinges are used to convert a standard door into a self-closing door, such as a residential entry or the door separating a house and garage. A spring mechanism loaded in the barrel allows the hinge to automatically close a door. These are approved for use on fire-rated doors and meet ANSI/BHMA standards.

These are also ideal to keep bedroom or bathroom doors in a closed position for convenience and aesthetics. Use a single or multiple spring hinges on each door (along with one or more standard hinges as needed), depending on the door weight and the spring tension desired.
