Wal Rich 1404010 20 Gauge Brass Trip Lever Bath Waste Assembly, specially designed as a complete assembly that fits all standard tubs. This trip lever set includes an overflow elbow, a rubber gasket, a waste tee, a shoe elbow, a waste tube, a cotter pin, a plunger, and a cover plate with a lever handle.

This Trip Lever is easy to install, place the rubber gasket on the overflow elbow. Set the shoe elbow and tube under the tub with a rubber washer between the shoe elbow and the tub. Place plumbers putty or silicone sealant on underside of shoe strainer. (Do not use plumbers putty on marble or plastic surfaces). Screw in the shoe strainer through the tub into the shoe elbow, and use pliers to secure shoe strainer into the shoe elbow. Wipe off any excess putty or silicone with a dry towel. place a slipnut and a washer on the waste tube and on the overflow tube. (Threads of slipnuts should be facing outwards). Set the waste tee in place and tighten the slipnut after it has been slipped into the drain line. Attach the adjustable nut to faceplate using the cotter pin cover plate machine screws. Insert assembled adjustable nut, threaded rod, and plunger into the overflow elbow until it is all the way inside, and adjust as necessary. Attach the cover plate to the overflow elbow using the two cover plate machine screws. Tighten up all the slip joint connections. Water test the entire installation by filling up the tub with water up to overflow opening and check for leaks.
