Redragon M612 RGB Gaming Mouse, 8000 DPI Wired Optical Gamer Mouse with 9 Programmable Buttons & 5 Backlit Modes, Software Supports DIY Keybinds Rapid Fire Button, Gray&White

The Redragon M612 is a wired optical gaming mouse with up to 8000 DPI and nine programmable buttons, making it suitable for gamers who want adjustable sensitivity and customizable controls for different games.

Recommended For

• Budget-conscious players who mainly play casual or single-player games and want a comfortable, full-size wired mouse rather than a competitive-focused model.
• Right-handed palm-grip users who want a supportive shape for long gaming or desk sessions; reviewers highlight its comfort, though fit can vary by grip.
• Desk gamers or workers who want to remap mouse buttons for game commands or routine shortcuts without moving to a premium mouse.
• Users who prefer a wired setup and want customizable DPI steps and RGB lighting for a stationary gaming desk.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• For relaxed single-player games, RPGs, or casual sims, the M612’s comfortable shape and consistent tracking can make it a practical low-cost mouse for longer play sessions.
• When a game uses many abilities or commands, players can reassign the extra buttons to keep some actions close to the thumb instead of reaching for the keyboard.
• For everyday browsing and desktop tasks between gaming sessions, the wired M612 can serve as one mouse for both work and play; programmable buttons can be set to shortcuts when useful.
• For casual shooter matches, it can handle ordinary gameplay, but players focused on competitive, fast flicks may notice the mouse’s weight and cable drag compared with lighter options.
• When a game or task involves repeated clicking, the dedicated rapid-fire control can trigger repeated input while held, if the software and game allow that use.
