Does the knob control volume?

Correction: The knob controls the volume IF you are in media mode. When you are in media mode, you cannot control the backlight. It stays a steady rainbow effect. If you want to control the lighting in any way, you have to switch to game mode by pressing the knob down for 3 seconds (an instruction which is not in the booklet that comes with it btw), where the knob then controls the brightness of the backlight. Then when you want to control the volume again, you have to switch out of game mode (press knob for 3s again).. which negates any of the settings you changed and goes back to the steady rainbow until you switch it back to game mode. Major design flaw.
