Why does the EK68 volume knob not allow for custom functions?
The EK68 volume knob is designed to only control volume, and does not allow for custom functions in order to provide a straightforward and intuitive user experience focused on media control.
Are the switches pre lubed?
Yes, the switches come pre-lubed and sound nice and smooth right out of the box.
what is the polling rate?
On wired mode or 2.4ghz wireless mode, the polling rate is 1000hz. On Bluetooth Mode, the polling rate is 125hz.
Where is the power on/off switch on the keyboard
There is no on/off switch. USB will enable your keyboard for wired connection. If you want to switch to 2.4g or bluetooth connection, you adjust the toggle and change modes. The other toggle is for Win and Mac.
Is the keyboard hot swappable? Compatible with which switches?
Yes, the keyboard is hot swappable. It is compatible with most 3 pin and 5 pin mechanical switches, such as Cherry, Gateron, Otemu, Kailh and other MX switches and their clones.
