Q4 Wired Custom Mechanical Keyboard, QMK/VIA Programmable Macro, Full Aluminum, Hot-Swappable Gateron G Pro Brown Switch, 60% Layout Double Gasket Compatible with Mac and Windows - Blue
The Q4 is a compact custom all-metal keyboard designed for versatile use, enhancing your typing experience. It features a fully aluminum CNC-machined body, a double-gasket design, and support for QMK/VIA firmware, making it an excellent choice for a mini keyboard. Full QMK and VIA support allows for easy programming and remapping of every key. The open-source firmware offers extensive customization options for layouts, shortcuts, and backlight effects. Hot-swappable functionality accommodates nearly all 3-pin and 5-pin MX-style mechanical switches available (including Cherry, Gateron, Kailh, Panda, etc.), with no soldering needed. It comes pre-installed with Gateron G Pro mechanical tactile brown switches for superior tactile feedback. PCB-mounted screw-in stabilizers are used for larger keys like the space bar, shift, enter, and delete to minimize wobble. The innovative Double Gasket Design includes gaskets on the plates along with silicone pads placed between the top and bottom cases. This construction significantly dampens sound resonance between metal parts and reduces impact noise. The design preserves the flexibility of the gasket structure while improving the overall typing sound profile. South-facing RGB LEDs are positioned to better illuminate the backlight from the typist's perspective when using the included premium non-shine-through PBT keycaps. This south-facing orientation also prevents interference when using alternative keycaps with OEM or Cherry profiles.
