I saw a pen in the other product catalog pics for this same keyboard. But i dont see one here. I assumed this model does come with a pen, is that not correct?

Assuming you mean a stylus. . . No, no stylus included. They are very inexpensive and available from numerous sources.

Is this for surface 3 or surface pro 3?

I am using mine with a Surface 3 but I understand that it is also compatible with the Pro.
