Wide range of applications to meet different needs: It is suitable for the connection between computers and various RS-485/RS-422 devices. Two-way mutual data transmission (USB to RS-485/RS-422, RS-485/RS-422 to USB) can be realized.
Compatible with a wide range of multi-system drive-free: It is compatible with all the Windows, MacOS, LinUX and other operating systems. For Win8/8.1/10/11 and MacOS systems, it is driver-free (networking automatically download to update drivers). However, For Win7/XP and LinUX systems, it is need to load driver from FTDI network and manually install.
Automatic conversion on RS485/422 protocol mode: Through the I / O (input/output) circuit, it can automatically control the direction of data transmission and does not require any jumper settings on handshake signals (such as RTS, DTR, etc.), so the RS485/422 mode conversion can easily realized and ensure that it meets the existing communication software and interface hardware.PS: It does not support the direct use of the 9-pin connection terminal equipment.
Supports 4 communication modes: (1) Point-to-point / 4-wire full-duplex; (2) Point-to-multipoint / 4-wire full-duplex; (3) Point-to-point / two-wire half-duplex; (4) Point-to-multipoint / two-wire half-duplex.
A stable transmission of 1200 meters due to the use of FT232+MX485 dual chip: it built-in the imported dual chip (UK FTDI232RL+MX485), plus TVS insurance diode, and support long-distance transmission for RS485/422 protocol equipment.
