Compatibility

AC/DC 12V MR16 Smart bulbs work over the Zigbee protocol. Therefore the MR16 smart lights are compatible with all major smart brands like Philips Hue*, Samsung SmartThings, or Amazon Echo Devices. *The Hue bridge does currently not support Apple HomeKit control. Smart Lights can be voice-controlled by Alexa or Google.

Important Note

Zigbee GU5.3 smart bulbs can be connected DIRECTLY to Amazon Echo Plus, Echo Show (2nd Gen), Echo 4th gen, Studio, and Echo Show 10. All other Alexa devices, like the Echo Dot, and Google home, require a Philips Hue* or SmartThings bridge. Not compatible with Apple Homekit or the Hue Entertainment mode.
