This 2-in-1 dual-purpose M.2 adapter card provides two independent conversion channels for NGFF solid state drives. The first channel converts M.2 M-Key PCIe NVMe SSD to SFF-8654 Slimline SAS interface for connecting server backplanes, RAID controllers and U.2 storage enclosures. The second channel converts B/B+M Key M.2 SATA SSD to standard 22Pin SATA III port for mainstream motherboard SATA slots.
Important functional restriction to avoid improper use: This adapter does NOT support NVMe SSD transferring to SATA port, nor M.2 SATA SSD converting to SFF-8654 Slimline SAS port. Two sets of SSD work on separate circuits without protocol cross-translation.
It fully covers common M.2 length specifications including 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280, perfectly matching mainstream consumer and enterprise-grade M.2 SATA and NVMe SSDs. The reinforced printed circuit board adopts anti-interference layout to minimize electromagnetic crosstalk during continuous high-load operation, ensuring reliable long-term performance for 24/7 running storage systems.
