Q: Can this product read two hard drives at the same time?
A: This product as an adaptor, cannot read two hard drives simultaneously.
If you want to switch and read a different hard drive, please follow these steps:
-Press the power switch to turn off the device
-Remove the current hard drive from the bay
-Insert the other hard drive
-Press the power switch again to turn the device back on
The new hard drive should now be accessible.
Q: What types of M.2 SSDs are supported?
A: This adapter supports both NVMe and SATA M.2 SSDs, with M-Key or B+M Key interface. Supported sizes include 2230, 2242, 2260, and 2280. Note: PCIe AHCI SSDs are not supported.
Note: When reading a hard drive, please ensure the other hard drive is removed. If both hard drives are connected to the adaptor at the same time, you may encounter issues where the drives cannot be read properly.
Q: Do I need to install drivers?
A: No. The adapter is plug-and-play on Windows, macOS, Linux, and other major operating systems. Drivers are not required.
Q: Can I use this adapter for disk cloning or migration?
A: No. This adapter does not support disk cloning or system migration. It is intended for external data access and file transfers only.

A: Yes. While the adapter connects via USB-C, an external power supply is required for stable operation—especially 3.5" HDD or when using high-capacity or power-hungry NVMe SSDs. Please use a 12V/2A power adapter via the provided power input port.
