HP Rechargeable Active Pen G3

The HP Rechargeable Active Pen G3 is a gray active stylus for compatible HP notebooks, suited to users who want pen input on supported devices such as select EliteBook x360 and Elite x2 models.

Recommended For

• HP EliteBook x360 1030 G3/G4, EliteBook x360 1040 G5/G6, Elite x2 1013 G3, Elite x2 G4, or ZBook Studio x360 G5 owners who want a compatible pen for handwritten notes, screen annotation, and app navigation.
• Users of a compatible device who take handwritten notes or mark up documents and want pressure sensitivity, palm rejection, and a soft tip for quieter writing.
• Compatible-device users who sketch, illustrate, or make diagrams and want pressure-sensitive input with tilt support; one owner also reported using it for an extended illustration session.
• Mobile users with a compatible HP EliteBook x360 1030 G3, Elite x2 G4, or ZBook Studio x360 G5 who want to attach the pen magnetically to their device.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• During a meeting or class on a compatible HP device, use the pen to handwrite notes directly on screen; it is designed for onscreen note-taking, so notes can be captured without switching to a keyboard.
• When reviewing a document or slide deck, use the pen to highlight or mark up content on a compatible touchscreen; the side buttons support actions such as highlighting and clicking.
• For quick sketches or light illustration, use the pen on a compatible device in an app that supports pressure-sensitive input; strokes can respond to how firmly you press.
• When navigating touch-friendly apps, use the pen to select items and interact directly with onscreen controls; this can be more deliberate than tapping with a finger on a compact interface.
• For a recurring workflow, configure the pen’s programmable button to launch a frequently used app or shortcut; on supported HP devices, its proximity alert can also help remind you if you leave the pen behind.
