· This cable features a built-in traffic antenna. The built-in antenna, as opposed to the traffic receiver, functions with certain Garmin models based on their GPS traffic receiver hardware specifications and may not offer this feature on some Garmin models.
· To check if your Garmin model has a built-in traffic receiver, navigate to Main Menu / Settings / Device/ About. Look for the line that says "Built-in traffic receiver?"
· If your model displays "Yes," you can use this TA20 compatible charger to receive over-the-air traffic information.
· If your model shows "No," you will need to purchase an external add-on receiver power cord like GTM36 or GTM60 from the Garmin Store to enable the HD traffic function.
