As the only manufacturer worldwide, Alphacool is uncompromising in its choice of materials and uses only copper for all water-carrying components in the radiator. The chambers, cooling fins, and cooling channels are made of pure copper. Only the connection threads (made of brass) and the outer housing of the radiator (made of sheet steel) are made from other materials. The HPE radiators are based on the NexXxoS series. But what’ s new? The HPE version features additional cooling channels and a very high fin density. Due to its technical design, cooling performance is significantly increased without restricting water flow within the radiator.

When fans are mounted on both sides in push/pull configuration, a noticeable drop in water temperature can be achieved compared to standard radiators. The Radiators are designed specifically for industrial and server environments. Thanks to thicker cooling channels and reinforced welds, they are built to withstand operating pressures of up to 5 Bar, ensuring maximum reliability in demanding industrial use. In traditional PC radiators, water flows in a U-shape, meaning the inlet and outlet are on the same side. This has certain advantages in typical PC setups. However, creating a proper water loop in an extremely flat server is difficult this way.

Thanks to X-Flow technology, the inlet and outlet are on opposite sides. This makes it easy to implement a circular water flow in a server rack: exiting one side directly into a CPU, possibly then through one or more graphics cards, and returning on the other side to the radiator. To maximize the radiator’ s performance, Alphacool uses pure copper for the cooling fins, cooling channels, and chambers due to its high thermal conductivity of 400
W/mK (by comparison: aluminum has 236 W/mK). The radiator’ s high fin density with a spacing of 15 FPI allows for optimal airflow. All cooling fins are also equipped with small flaps— tiny wings that guide the airflow in the desired
