PoE HAT F for Raspberry Pi 5 CM5, 802.3af/at, Cooling Fan

Overview The PoE HAT F is a high-power Power over Ethernet expansion board designed for Raspberry Pi 5 and CM5 projects. It supports IEEE 802.3 af/at PoE and PoE+ input, allowing network connection and power input through a single Ethernet cable when used with compatible PoE power sourcing equipment. This PoE HAT uses a fully isolated switched-mode power supply design to provide stable power conversion for wired embedded systems, network terminals, edge computing projects, compact servers, industrial control nodes and remote deployment applications. For thermal performance, the module integrates an active cooling fan and metal heatsink.

The high-speed fan helps accelerate heat dissipation, making it suitable for Raspberry Pi 5 and CM5 applications that require stable operation under higher workloads. The board provides onboard 5V and 12V output headers for external peripherals. The 5V header can provide up to 4.5A output, and the total 5V + 12V output power can reach up to 25W under suitable PoE input and cooling conditions. The standard 40-pin GPIO stackable header allows connection to Pi 5 and CM5 while keeping expansion flexibility for compatible HATs or custom project wiring. This makes the PoE HAT F suitable for wired network applications, compact embedded systems, industrial prototypes and development platforms.

Please note: This product is a PoE expansion HAT for development and embedded applications. Raspberry Pi board, Ethernet cable, PoE switch/injector and external peripherals are not included.
