Overview The Modbus RTU DC Monitor 4CH is an industrial RS485 DC monitoring module designed for multi-channel acquisition of DC voltage, current, and power. Using the standard Modbus RTU protocol, a host controller can send Modbus commands over a wired RS485 bus to read real-time measurement dataideal for control cabinets, industrial automation, and distributed monitoring setups. This 4-channel DC power meter module features a 0.002 ±1% current sense resistor and 16-bit high-precision acquisition, enabling accurate bidirectional current measurement by measuring the differential voltage across the shunt resistor connected in series between INx+ and INx-.

Each channel supports up to 36V voltage measurement and up to 8A current measurement, with direct power measurement for practical DC load monitoring. To improve reliability in noisy industrial environments, the module integrates comprehensive isolation and protection circuits. It includes power isolation and optocoupler isolation for the RS485 signal path, providing strong anti-interference performance and stable isolation voltage without requiring an additional isolated supply for the isolated terminal. Built-in TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressor) helps suppress surge and transient spikes, while a resettable fuse and anti-reverse protection improve stability and protection against wiring mistakes.

The board supports a wide 736V input supply and comes in a compact DIN rail mount enclosure for 35mm standard rails, supporting stacking combination for clean installation. 3 status LEDs indicate MCU and RS485 transceive status for easier on-site diagnostics.
