Originally developed in the 1990s, the Iomega Zip disc drive system is a "superfloppy" disk drive that has all of the standard 3+12-inch floppy drive's convenience, but with much greater capacity options and with performance that is much improved over a standard floppy drive. Usable only with the Iomega Zip Drive.
