Gen 3 to SATA III (Serial ATA) 6Gbps controller. It will covert
PCIE 3.0 X4 to 6-Ports SATA III on desktop PCs, MAC Pros, NAS, and working stations. The PCIE 3.0 X4 interface with X2 signal will provide 16Gbps total bandwidth for 6X SATA III ports. Allow users add
6X max SATA HDD/SSD on their system for
AHCI Boot or storage. This PCIE SATA III card will support
Plug and Playon Windows OS, Linux kernels, and MAC OS systems, now no need to install driver anymore for PCIE SATA expansion cards.
WARNING:
1. This PCE-G3S6 PCIE SATA card will
no need to install driver in systems, if PCs or Servers cannot find the added-on
HDD/SSD and this device, then double check if the mother board PCIE slot is
active and open. Some brand mother board may have defined PCIE function when it produced. User better call mother board manufacture locate the problem.
2. PCE-G3S6 was set on
AHCI mode. If users using the classical IDE mode, user's PC will report BSD error. If users do not know which mode is running on PCs, follow
steps as below: Windows Device Manage-IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers-Will see
"XXX SATA AHCI controllers" or "XXX IDE controller".
3. If user add the
new or recovered HDD/SSD on the system, users must add this disk on system by Windows reminder in
Windows Device Manager-Storage-Disk Management.
4. PCE-G3S6 is designed on
PCIE X4 interface, will works on PCIE X4, X8, X16 slot, not support PCIE X1 slot. Normal mother board will have X16 and X1 only, so users better check if it has
empty PCIE X16 slot before purchase.
