A special bundle we have put together for portable active Iridium reception. Includes SAWbird+ IR (dual LNA and filter in aluminum enclosure), a high gain Iridium patch antenna, an SMA DC block, a male SMA to male SMA barrel adapter, a male SMA to male SMA pigtail cable, a micro USB cable, and a micro USB to barrel connector cable. We have designed this bundle to be compatible with most common SDRs, including all the SDRs in our lineup! Our high performance L-Band (Iridium) patch antenna with a gain of ~ 3.1 dBi and a female SMA connector.

The antenna works very well for both right hand circularly polarized (RHCP) and linear signal types, and has excellent performance over the entire range of Iridium signals. The antenna is only 82mm x 80mm ( 3.25" x 3.10" ) and weighs just 25g ( 0.90 oz)! Receives Iridium broadcasts with ease, even when not well pointed at the appropriate satellites, which drastically simplifies setup.
