M12 + RJ45 Industrial PoE Ethernet Extender Kit, 800m 2600ft, DIN Rail

EVERY UNIT CARRIES BOTH AN M12 PORT AND A STANDARD RJ-45 PORT Master and remote are identically fitted, so the M12 side connects to rail, vehicle and machine-mounted equipment while the RJ-45 side takes an ordinary patch lead from a switch, an IP camera, a controller or a laptop. The uplink accepts RG-59, RG-6 or RG-11 75 coax directly, or any two copper wires through the BNC-to-screw-terminal adapter supplied in the set. Wire gauge, insulation and joint quality set where inside those figures a given run lands. ^^ THE MASTER TAKES 802.3 af/at PoE AS A PD, OR 12 VDC, OR 4657 VDC ANY OF THE THREE Feed it from a PoE port you already have and it needs no outlet at all, drawing 3.5 W. Where there is no PoE, or where the link has to power several remotes, the 48 VDC supply in the set does the same job.

The remote unit not only powers itself off the same uplink the data rides on, it also puts IEEE 802.3 af or 802.3 at back out of its own RJ-45 port for the camera, access point or reader at the far end. ^^ POINT-TO-POINT, STAR AND DAISY-CHAIN FROM THE SAME HARDWARE One master feeds one remote, or several remotes in a star from a single head end, or a chain of units passing the link down a line of cabinets. The topology is set by how the units are cabled, not by a different part number or a configuration step.
