Olympus DS4000 Professional Hand Held Digital Voice Recorder. Comes with 32MB xD memory card, provides up to 660 minutes of recording time (in Long Play mode; 310 minutes in standard play mode) USB Docking Station to connect directly to a PC or Mac. Compatible with pipular digital speech recognition (Speech to text) packages, such as Dragon Naturally Speaking and IBM Via Voice. Files can be outputted as. WAV and/or. DSS compressed digital speech format. Elegant body and compact design. DS4000 and DSS Player software are PC and Mac Compatible.
7 seperate folders let you store, transfer, and organize your files (199 files per folder). Noise canceling technology. Backlit LCD Display. Connect the DS4000 to a computer and use it as a USB Speaker to output audio or as a USB microphone when using voice recognition software. Includes a built in Variable Control Actuator that automatically starts and stops recording as it senses sound, helping to conserve memory and battery life. Insert up to 16 index marks per recording to quickly identify important dictation. Move, Erase, Overwrite, and Lock audio files.
