The E-Image EK740A Professional Video Tripod System is a complete camera support kit designed for DSLR, Mini DV, and HDV video production workflows. The system includes the EH630 75mm fluid head, AT630SE aluminum tripod legs, GP1-S quick release plate, GB1 pan handle, and SC-1S carry bag, providing the main components needed for a portable video tripod setup. The EH630 fluid head features a 75mm bowl design and provides fixed counterbalance for camera loads up to 4 kg / 8.8 lb. It is designed to support smoother camera movement while shooting and includes continuous adjustable tilt drag, fixed pan drag, and a tilt range from -50 to +90.

A built-in bubble level helps assist with balancing, while the camera plate locking knob, tilt locking knob, horizontal locking knob, and bowl locking knob provide control during setup and operation. The included GP1-S quick release plate supports 1/4" and 3/8" camera mounting screws, giving users flexibility for different camera mounting requirements. The head also includes a safety button and a pan handle mounting rosette, along with the GB1 pan handle for controlled camera movement during video capture. The AT630SE tripod legs are made from aluminum and use a 2-stage, 3-section design with a 75mm bowl.

The tripod legs provide a working height range of 63-150 cm / 24.8 - 59.1 in, while the complete EK740A system provides a height range of 74-161 cm / 29.1 - 63.4 in. For stability, the AT630SE tripod includes an adjustable middle spreader that helps set up the tripod on level or uneven surfaces. Rubber feet help prevent sliding, and the feet can be changed to spike feet for different ground conditions.
