The ATC-871 is a short distance (500m/1640ft) wireless adapter for RS232, RS485, or TTL level signals. It has 8 channels and baud rates up to 38.4K. The frequency range is 429- 433.30MH z and the device uses low power (max. 100mW). Two ATC-871s are required for a communication connection. Select the connection, RS232, RS485, or TTL, as units only allow for one type of serial connection. The RS485 version requires a RS485 configuration cable to send the the appropriate type of message (RS232, RS485) to set up the unit.
The configuration cable is not included. Our ATC-820 converter can be used as the RS485 configuration cable.
