Standard (Office size): Remington and Underwood Noiseless Standard (1920s onwards) Remington Standard (late1930s) Remington Model 17 Remington Electric Ribbons from FJA include a decal/sticker that states: "If your Remington has a larger spindle/center hole, please "PUSH"the removable center core out of the spools" If the decal is not on the spool, I am sorry. When they leave here and go to they all have decals. The good news is that you can use the backside of a pencil, or a small screwdriver and firmly push the center core out of the ribbon and you will be able to place it onto the Remington spindle.
