For example, it correctly supports 240p signals, enabling full interlaced doubling at 480p. 480i signals are deinterlaced and upscaled to 480p equivalents. Note that this device's maximum output resolution is limited to 480p/576p.
- Zero Latency: The retroscaler2x is a zero-latency device, validated through numerous measurements and equipment tests.
- Compatible Regions: Both NTSC and PAL signals are supported, but they cannot be converted between each other. This means you can connect any signal compatible with your target device, but NTSC may not function on HDMI PAL-compatible devices, and vice versa.
