The master sits at your switch or NVR; one coax run carries data and PoE to the slave, which powers up to four 802.3 af/at devices. No power run, no electrician, no local switch at the camera site. Put the master on a UPS and the whole remote cluster rides through an outage. ^^ ANY COAX IMPEDANCE - 75 OHM OR 50 OHM, THIN OR THICK. The line side is a two-wire interface, not a matched RF port, so cable impedance does not set the link.

RG59, RG6, RG11, RG58, LMR and bare twisted pair all carry it. Whatever is already in the ground is the cable you use. ^^ IT REUSES YOUR COAX - IT DOES NOT CONVERT ANALOG CAMERAS. This carries Ethernet/IP over the cable your old analog CCTV used. You keep the cable and replace the cameras with IP cameras. It is not an AHD/TVI/CVI/CVBS video converter and will not put an analog camera onto a network. ^^ 1000m (3280ft) FOR DATA, 500m (1640ft) WITH PoE. Power delivered on coax: 30W to 100m, 29W at 300m, 20W at 500m, against 16.8W at 500m over Cat5 two-pair. Power reach follows the DC loop resistance of the conductor, so a heavier centre conductor holds more watts at distance. IEEE 802.3 af/at on all four slave ports: IP cameras, VoIP phones, wireless APs. ^^ IT ALSO RUNS OVER TWISTED PAIR, ALARM OR INTERCOM CABLE - ADAPTERS INCLUDED IN THE SET. The included BNC-to-2pin adapters let the same kit work over any two-wire copper pair: twisted pair, alarm cable, bell wire, even bare copper. The adapters ship fitted to the BNC ports to protect them in transit - unscrew them for coax, leave them on for two-wire. Nothing extra to buy either way. ^^ PLUG AND PLAY - NO SOFTWARE, NO IP SETUP, NO SPECIAL TOOLS. Connect both ends and the link comes up on its own, with 128-bit AES encryption on the line by default.
In the box: master unit, slave unit, 48VDC adapter, BNC-to-2pin adapters, manual. The master runs from the included 48-56VDC supply or from any 802.3 af/at PoE switch. Metal chassis with mounting brackets, -20 to +60C; install both units indoors or inside a sealed cabinet - the housing is not sealed against rain or condensation. ^^ MASTER SIDE CAN ALSO BE POWERED AS A PoE PD DEVICE - POWER AND DATA ON THE SAME INPUT PORT. Feed the master from any PoE switch, PoE injector or PoE NVR and its uplink RJ45 carries both the data and the power the unit runs on - the included 48-56VDC supply stays in the box.
