- The module is a 16-way IO expansion module with an I2C interface, using MCP23017 chip. The chip is fully functional, and each IO can be arbitrarily configured as an input or output. The use of pull-up resistors can be set, and the interrupt function can be enabled for IO configured as an input.
- The IO interface has strong driving capacity, with a current injection and pull-in current of up to 25mA. MCP23017 is a high-speed IIC interface that supports IIC frequencies of 100KHz, 400KHz, and 1.7MHz.
- The chip has three address pins and can be set with eight different addresses, so eight modules can be connected through two IC buses to achieve up to 128 IO expansions.
- The 16-way IO expansion module has flexible configuration, strong driving ability, and can be connected in parallel with multiple modules.
