This HDMI KVM USB IP Extender supports two usage methods.
1. In most cases, it is used in a single-cable one-to-one mode, transmitting HDMI and USB signals over the cable to facilitate remote control of a mouse and keyboard.
2. It also supports a one-to-many cascading transmission mode (up to 254 cascades). The one-to-many cascading mode requires the use of an Ethernet switch and complies with the 802.3 Ethernet standard, supporting one transmitter (TX) to twenty receivers (RX). It is typically used when multiple monitors need to synchronously display images from the transmitter (TX). Receivers (RX) must be purchased separately for cascading mode. When cascading a large number of devices, a Gigabit Ethernet switch is recommended.
