iDatalink Maestro HRN-HRR-SU3 Vehicle-Specific T-Harness. Connect an iDatalink-ready receiver and retain steering wheel controls, factory amp and sub, and backup camera in select compatible 2017-up Subaru vehicles (ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 module also required)Working in conjunction with the Maestro ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 module, iDatalink's interface harness lets you connect a new iDatalink-ready car stereo in select compatible 2017-up Subaru vehicles. Once installed, you'll retain the use of your steering wheel audio controls, your compatible Subaru's amplifier (including the fader), and the factory backup camera in these vehicles. You'll also retain the use of your Starlink and park assist features.

This installation harness will not work with car stereos that do not feature an iDatalink serial port. The package includes connectors that plug in between the Maestro module and your compatible Subaru radio's wiring plugs. You'll have to solder or splice together this harness's power/ground, illumination, speaker, and navigation output wires to the corresponding wires on your aftermarket receiver's wiring harness. With your iDatalink-ready car stereo, you can set up gauges on your receiver's screen to monitor engine performance, tire pressure, and other functions. You'll also be able to read and reset the vehicle's Check Engine codes.

Plus, you'll have access to three programmable outputs for controlling outboard gear. Plug directly into your new stereo. This harness also features an in-line head-unit connector harness, which will plug into their new "Head-unit direct" harnesses for select radio brands, eliminating the need to splice wires. If you're installing a radio that doesn't work with a "Head-unit direct" harness, cut off the plug and connect the wires to the harness included with your new radio.
Installation note: This harness must be used with the iDatalink Maestro ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 module to connect a new car stereo to your vehicle.

Factory Features: The following factory features (if applicable) are retained when replacing your factory radio with a compatible iDatalink Serial Port head unit using the Maestro RR or RR2 Car Radio Replacement Interface module and HRN-HRR-SU3 installation harness.
Starlink: The factory Starlink telematics and SOS buttons are retained (if equipped).
Factory Amplifier: The factory Harman Kardon amplifier with turn-on, fader, and gain adjustment (if equipped)
Steering Wheel Controls: Factory steering wheel controls are retained with two function buttons and expandable radio functions.
Advanced Camera Features: Factory backup camera is retained with dynamic parking guidelines, as well as the 360 degree camera feature. If you add an aftermarket front and/or side cameras (sold separately) to your idatalink compatible head unit that is equipped with multiple camera inputs, the vehicle's factory auto camera switching feature is also retained.
Secondary Vehicle Display: If equipped, your vehicle's secondary display is retained to indicate audio & hands-free information.
Vehicle Settings: Access and modify factory vehicle settings through the compatible aftermarket head unit's touchscreen.
Note: When installing an aftermarket head unit without the iDatalink Serial Port, only steering wheel control, factory amplifier, and backup camera are retained.
