4-Inch Cast Woofer
Thoughtful design choices deliver engaging sound from a small woofer. Damping-treated paper cone reproduces vocals faithfully with improved linearity and reduced coloration. A long-throw suspension and high-efficiency motor structure enhance bass output capability from a small ported enclosure. The cast aluminum basket has superior rigidity to prevent ringing and a thinner frame structure for reduced back wave reflections.

1-Inch Silk Dome Tweeter
The tweeters construction starts with an ultralight silk diaphragm with excellent stability and internal damping characteristics. Ferrofluid cooling for the voice coil and a finned heatsink on the powerful neodymium magnet minimizes power compression. The waveguide faceplate is contoured to produce an off-axis response that meshes with the woofers upper midrange and integrates with the truncated woofer frame for minimized center-to-center distance.

Rear Ported Enclosure
Classic rear ported small speaker enclosure design. Rounded front edges, flush mount drivers, and internally beveled magnetic grill minimize unwanted reflections and diffractions. The dual flared port incorporates a custom airflow-optimized taper profile, which significantly increases the bass output headroom before the onset of audible port noise.
