Other software solutions are as follows: Go to Plex Client Settings, in "Passthrough", if I selected "Optical" (not the default "HDMI"), it adds new option next to it called "Optical Encodings". Set it to "DTS" only (uncheck "AC3"), I can hear sound on videos with EAC3 format. So can man back to full functioning Station.
