Low Insertion Loss & Low AttenuationAssembled with duplex, small form factor, 1.25 mm ceramic ferrule, LC connectors designed for compact, high cable density environments. Connectors include pre-installed duplex LC clips Insertion Loss 0.3 dB, Return Loss 50dB. Core/Cladding ParameterCorning 9 micron diameter fiber core/125 micron diameter cladding. The fiber optic core is surrounded by a transparent, low refraction, cladding material. Light is contained within the fiber core (total internal reflection) causing the fiber within the patch cord assembly to act as a wave-guide. Light travels through the fiber bouncing off the boundary between core & cladding. Plug and Play1. LC Duplex SingleMode fiber Cable has easy to identify white, blue and black boots with yellow (A, B) Plastic rings markers and also feature a Removable dust caps for a reliable fiber and a great connectivity, save time in the field since there is no onsite termination necessary.
