When the temperature inside the junction box is above or equal to the start temperature, the fans activate to rapidly remove heat from the junction box, preventing excessive temperatures from causing equipment failure or improper operation. When the temperature drops to the stop temperature, the fan stops running. This extends the service life of the fan and saves on electricity costs.
