Gitzo GH1382TQD Center Ball Head Series 1 Traveler with Quick Release D (Black)

Gitmo's Center Ball Heads are extremely balanced and versatile heads, engineered and designed focusing on ultimate smoothness and precision of the movement and locking. GH1382TQD is the slimmest in the range, designed to fit between the folded legs of Series 0 and 1 Traveler tripods. It does not feature the friction control knob, but features independent pan lock. It has no compromises in the ball smoothness (WS2 coating) and hardness of the external and internal components. It is supplied with the short, Arce-Swiss compatible plate (GS5370SD), but is also compatible with all of Gitmo's D profile plates and fits most Arce-Swiss style plates from other brands.

On the head base there is a removable safety pin that acts as a safety catch and helps prevent the plate from sliding out. If this safety pin blocks the mounting of other brand plates or prevents them from sliding out simply remove the safety pin with the key provided.
