12ft is not the full length, the maximum length available is about 16ft, which is not recommended.

Compatible with audio devies with 3.5 mm jack, like TV, PC, laptop, cell phone, tablet, electric piano, etc.
NOT ALL TVs with 3.5 mm audio output are compatible. Before purchase, please kindly have a check on your TV by using a 3.5 mm wired earbuds.

Will NOT work with TVs ONLY have optical and coaxial audio output
Will NOT work on TVs with a fixed volume output (please check with any wired earphones)
TVs only have 6.35 mm(1/4 inch) jack require a 6.35 mm to 3.5 mm adapter
TVs only have RCA output require an RCA to 3.5 mm adapter
Devices with lightning port for audio require a lightning to 3.5 mm adapter
Android devices with Type C audio output require a Type C to 3.5 mm adapter
If your desktop/PC is built with two audio jacks (green one for audio output and pink one for the mic), you need a headphone splitter to make the mic work.
