No tools Required. ^^ Touch Adjust smooth movement is ideal for TVs/Monitors 30lbs or less. For heavier TVs, the Cheetah ALAMLB uses a larger friction ball with smooth movement for TVs up to 50lbs (see the 24-75" size grouped with this model). ^^ Fits all TVs 12-37", most 40-50", and some 55" but check that VESA pattern is 200 or less and weight without stand is 40lbs or less.

For TVs 30-40lbs, loosen, adjust and re-tighten friction ball. ^^ With wing pieces removed, the base plate is VESA 100 and will fit and hold all Monitors up to 49".
